ABOUT ME
Becky Lee.
I’m a graphite artist. Working with pencils, erasers, and paper. Often, pencil is looked at as the material that an artist begins with. I feel it can be a fine art material all on its own. It just depends on how you use it.
When my husband and I moved to Florida in 2021 I was making the transition from high school art teacher to artist. I started working on portrait drawings to help hone my drawing skills. Now it is 2023 and I have made a new goal and made a new state we call home. I am currently residing in Mesa, Arizona. I am an official Desert Nomad. I wonder how this new move will impact my future art making. I hope you join me for the journey.
I still plan to document my journey of going from teacher to artist. I hope my personal artist experiences and tips that I find will help other artists become the artist they want to be.
Whether you are an artist or art lover, I hope you take a look at my past and present graphite art drawings.
Some days being an artist can be a little difficult. You just have to remember; tomorrow is a different day. Chin up
